America’s Credit Union Museum Needs Your Help

The story of People Helping People is timeless. From our industry’s humble roots in Manchester, New Hampshire, to the work your credit union is doing today—the credit union movement has always been about making a difference in the lives of its members.

As part of the America’s Credit Union Museum’s 20th anniversary celebration, a new exhibit is in development that will help tell the story of every credit union in the country. The exhibit will help celebrate the stories and histories of credit unions like yours.

If your credit union is interested in sharing the history of your organization to include in the museum’s database, you can upload information online in Google Forms.

The Credit Union Museum has provided a few helpful hints for entering data:

  • When inputting your information, please proofread your text as it will not be edited prior to display. The Museum recommends typing the text in a document, then copying/pasting it into the Google Form.
  • Please be sure to name your uploaded files as indicated to ensure they are matched correctly. For example:
    • Logo file: The file name should be “Your Credit Union Name_Logo” i.e. “Bellwether_Logo.” The format should be horizontal and fit in a rectangle approximately 400px x 100px.
    • All images should be PNG or JPG format only. No TIF or PDF files.
    • Name photos as indicated on the form (i.e. BellwetherPhoto1) to ensure they are placed correctly.
