Atlantic FCU Announces New Role for Chief Operations Officer Keith Rioux

Atlantic FCU has announced that Keith Rioux, its Chief Operations Officer, will assume the title of Senior Advisor. Rioux has worked at Atlantic FCU for more than 30 years, moving from lending to marketing. He then held the leadership roles of Branch Manager, VP Branch Operations, SVP Operations, and then Chief Operations Officer in 2013.

“Since the merger between Atlantic FCU and York County FCU, Keith has been a tremendous resource in helping to guide Atlantic,” said Scott Chretien, President/CEO at Atlantic FCU. “When Keith told me he was ready to start the next chapter of his life, I asked him to consider a new role with Atlantic FCU and put his plans on hold. I told him that I strongly believe that we are a better organization with Keith Rioux.”

“I told Scott that I’ve come to a point in my life where a change was needed,” said Rioux. “Having the opportunity to contribute as a Senior Advisor and help Atlantic FCU continue to grow is a perfect fit. I am beyond fortunate to work for an organization that understands and values work-life balance.”

“So many wonderful things that were a result of the 2019 merger,” added Chretien. “One of those things is the bench strength that we have developed with our staff of almost 200. We have a solid leadership team and an incredible group of next-level leaders. This change provides an opportunity for others to step up, stretch, and develop while Atlantic FCU continues to be the beneficiary of Keith’s expertise.”
