Elise Baldacci is returning to work with Governor Mills as her Deputy Chief of Staff. The move comes at the request of the Governor to help plan and support the state’s COVID recovery efforts, including use of funding from the American Rescue Plan Act. Elise will depart from her role as SVP of Policy at the League/Synergent on August 20.
“We wish Elise all the best in her return to work with the Mills Administration,” stated Todd Mason, President and CEO of MECUL/Synergent. “The State of Maine is fortunate to have someone as dedicated and talented as Elise working on our most important challenges and opportunities. With her strong background and passion for credit unions, I know Elise will help ensure we are top of mind and at the table as the State of Maine works to address its top priorities.”
Elise Baldacci said, “The credit union movement will always hold a special place in my heart. Public service also holds a strong place in my heart and I am honored to return to work with Governor Mills again. Regardless of where I am, however, I will always be a credit union advocate.”
