Evergreen CU Commits Over $75,000 to Community Groups

To help community organizations respond to the COVID-19 pandemic, Evergreen CU has dedicated both human and financial resources to help their neighbors in need. The credit union announced that they have allocated $75,000 to assist local organizations. Some of these nonprofits include the Animal Refuge League of Greater Portland, Portland Food Map, Portland Trails, Cooking for Community, and the Campaign for Ending Hunger. Evergreen CU collaborates with these organizations, as well as many others, to help them grow and serve Mainers.

“Our relationship with the communities we serve includes these collaborations with very relevant local organizations,” said Jason Lindstrom, CEO at Evergreen CU. “Giving back is what credit unions are known for and the pandemic made our support that much more important.”
