GAC Gets Underway in Less than One Month

The CUNA 2021 Governmental Affairs Conference (GAC) is just under a month away! GAC is taking place March 2 and 3 and for the first time, will be completely virtual. The online format will allow frequent attendees to once again experience the high-caliber programming they are used to, and offer new attendees a unique opportunity to sample what attending a GAC is about.

Some of the more popular activities during GAC include our League events, sponsored by CUNA Mutual Group, TriCorp, and Synergent. While traditional events like the delegation breakfast isn’t possible, the League is actively working to build meaningful Maine-specific GAC programming for our attendees. Each morning, the League will host a “Mornings in Maine” program. During this segment, we will discuss timely legislative topics, hear from our congressional leaders, and engage in the comradery that GAC attendees are accustomed to.

Specific details regarding Maine League events, as well as CUNA programming, will continue to be shared in the coming days and weeks. To participate, register online at https://www.cuna.org/Events/CUNA-Governmental-Affairs-Conference/Registration/. Questions concerning this year’s GAC can be directed to Robert Caverly, League Vice President of Governmental Affairs, or Kelley Souza, League Executive Assistant to the President/CEO.
