The New England Automated Clearing House (NEACH) has announced the appointment of Steve Roy, President/CEO of Tricorp FCU, as its new board chair.
“I have been honored to work with Steve for many years,” said Sean Carter, NEACH President and CEO. “In fact, he’s our longest-tenured board member, and he brings important insight and knowledge to our strategic discussions. In particular, his dedication to relationship-building and customer service is remarkable. We are looking forward to what we will accomplish with him as chair.”
A board member since 1998, Roy has served in numerous positions including treasurer and chairperson of NEACH’s audit committee. He has been the President/CEO of Tricorp FCU since 1995 and has held several positions there including Operations Manager and Vice President.
“NEACH provides a deep understanding of the current marketplace and offers great support to financial institutions of all sizes,” said Roy. “The organization serves as a crucial resource for matters such as payments strategy, rules, and more. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed my time on the NEACH board over the years and am delighted to serve in this new role.”
The NEACH board of directors is composed of 10 to 20 individuals from member banks and credit unions, as well as one corporate member from a non-financial institution. The board oversees the governance and administration of the organization and addresses topics of strategic and operational significance to NEACH and its members.
