Synergent Rewards Loyalty Program Promotes CU Engagement with Members

Synergent, the League’s service subsidiary, recently announced the launch of Synergent Rewards, a new program designed to help credit unions build strong relationships by incentivizing the utility of predefined member services. This turnkey solution integrates directly with a credit union’s Symitar® Episys® core processing platform.

“Synergent Rewards makes it simple for credit unions to improve the financial lives of their members by rewarding beneficial behaviors,” said Doug MacDonald, Vice President Marketing Services for Synergent. “This automated and configurable solution helps retain members while increasing product utilization through a rewards program that is simple to use and understand.“

Synergent Rewards empowers credit unions to define how rewards are given and control the criteria for earning rewards. For example, credit unions can define qualifying card transactions, establish a minimum number of ACH or ATM deposits or withdrawals, set usage requirements for digital banking, even offer an eStatement opt-in incentive.

“Synergent built Rewards directly on the core to increase the value and utility of processing automation,” said MacDonald. “This feature set will help support unique member and credit union objectives.”

Because Synergent Rewards is tied directly to a credit union’s core, no additional servers, third-party file transfers, or end-of-month staff time is required. Synced data flows between Episys and Synergent Rewards and qualifies member eligibility to post rewards for fulfillment.

“Our goal at Synergent is to help credit unions provide exceptional service to their members,” said Todd Mason, President/CEO of Synergent. “This innovative rewards program is a great example of how we do it. We believe Synergent Rewards is a convenient way for credit unions to drive member engagement and most important, member satisfaction.”
