PeoplesChoice CU to Host 17th Annual Polar Bear Tournament

PeoplesChoice CU is pleased to announce it will be hosting its 17th Annual Polar Bear Golf Tournament on October 8 to benefit Maine Credit Unions’ Campaign for Ending Hunger, CULAC, and Special Olympics Maine. The event will take place at the Woodlands Club in Falmouth with a shotgun start beginning at 11 am.

To maintain the safety of all golfers, only 100 players/25 teams will be allowed to participate. Other changes include drive-thru registration and live scoring with Golf Genius. The event will be as touch-free as possible, and players will be encouraged to depart the course following the tournament.

“We are thrilled to host our annual tournament and have worked hard to create an event that is safe and fun for all involved,” said Luke Labbe, President of PeoplesChoice CU. “Because we have limited capacity this year, we encourage golfers to register as soon as possible to secure their spot.”

The tournament will feature the popular skirt drive hole. At this special spot on the greens, things always get interesting! While wearing wild and colorful skirts, players hit close to the hole for a chance to win raffle prizes. The hole also serves as a great spot for photo taking.
