Forbes Announces 2020 Best Credit Unions In Each State

For the third year in a row, Forbes partnered with market research firm Statista to produce its list of the “Best Credit Unions in Each State.” Nearly 25,000 customers were surveyed for their opinions on their current and former banking relationships.

Credit unions were scored on overall recommendations and satisfaction, as well as five sub-categories:

  • Trust
  • Terms and Conditions
  • Branch Services
  • Digital Services
  • Financial Advice

Of the 5,236 credit unions nationwide, just 3.5% made Forbes’ list.  Credit unions recognized as Best in Maine include:

  • New Dimensions FCU
  • Atlantic FCU
  • Central Maine FCU
  • Town & Country FCU
  • University Credit Union (UCU)

Northeast CU was included in the list of Best in New Hampshire Credit Unions.
