OTIS FCU Awards Five $500 Scholarships to Local Graduates

OTIS FCU is pleased to announce that it has awarded five $500 scholarships to local high school graduates. The recipients include Bailey Coates, Brandon Coates, Riley Gray, and Abigail Thurston from Spruce Mountain High School, and Lauren Ferland from Dirigo High School.

High school seniors with plans to pursue post-secondary education within one year of graduation and are primary members at OTIS FCU, were invited to apply for a scholarship. All applicants were asked to provide an essay, a reference letter from a high school teacher or guidance counselor, and a copy of their letter of acceptance from a college, university, or technical school.

OTIS FCU has been providing scholarships to area graduates since 2015. Congratulations to this year’s recipients!
