Central Maine CU understands the challenges its community has faced throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. For the credit union’s older members and those living with physical disabilities, they recognize this period has been especially isolating. That’s why the credit union assembled and delivered dozens of care packages for residents living in the Lewiston/Auburn area.
“We are here to help our members whenever possible,” said Vicki Stuart, President and CEO of Central Maine Credit Union. “Our care packages are helping to support social distancing, while also bringing a smile to the faces of our members.”
The credit union’s care packages contained a number of items to help their homebound members including toilet paper, tissues, soup, pasta, marinara sauce, tuna, crackers, cereals, granola bars, fruit cups, chips, and more.
“Many of our older members have been with us for decades, so we want to do anything we can to help them through this crisis,” said Stuart.
