Dover, NH – Northeast Credit Union (NECU) is pleased to announce the promotion of Jessica Champagne to Branch Manager of their Dover, NH location. Previously the Assistant Branch Manager of Dover, Champagne remains a staple within her branch and in the greater Dover community. Champagne’s responsibilities include overseeing the everyday operations of the branch, promoting community involvement and to ensure that the financial well-being of their members is met with the highest level of member service.
“Jessica is the true definition of a leader in every sense,” said Kelly Sica, Assistant Vice President of Retail Management. “She is selfless and believes in supporting and growing her teammates into the best version of themselves; her teammate’s success is our members’ success. I am proud to have her as part of the Northeast Credit Union family and look forward to seeing her continue to flourish as she steps into her new role as Branch Manager in our Dover branch.”
Champagne began her career with NECU in 1997 at the Portsmouth branch as a teller and worked her way into the Lending Department first as a Loan Processor, then Loan Sales Support Coordinator. From there she moved to the Dover Branch in 2006 to be Lead Teller/Member Service Representative further advancing to Assistant Branch Manager and now to Branch Manager.
“What started out as ‘just a job’ when I first came to NECU has become my career, and I have no regrets about that. I have believed in the Credit Union from the very beginning. I was a member long before an employee, and my loyalty has been engrained in me over the years,” states Champagne. “I am so excited to be given this opportunity to continue to grow along with the Credit Union and to be a part of the effort to make NECU a well-known “best place to work”, because I truly do love working here,” she continues.
Champagne has lived on the New Hampshire Seacoast her entire life, moving to Dover in 1998. She has four children who all attend or have attended Dover Schools. Her family has been involved in local cheerleading and baseball over the years. Champagne was a “Cookie Mom” for her youngest daughters Girl Scout Troop for several years, assisting with cookie sales and helping them to increase their total sales.
