CUNA is Now Accepting Nominations for Compliance Champion Awards

CUNA is now accepting nominations for its Compliance Champion Award.  If you know an individual or credit union making a difference in your credit union network, don’t miss your chance to nominate them for this special recognition.

Qualifications:

  • Must be a CUNA affiliated credit union;
  • Must be a member of CUNA’s Compliance Community with a completed community profile & photo; and
  • Must hold CUNA’s CUCE (Credit Union Compliance Expert) Designation.

There are three categories: asset size less than $100 M; assets $101M-$500M; and assets greater than $500M.

“Best in Class Winners” will be selected from each category and will receive:

  • The award (mailed to them in October 2019);
  • Their profile in Credit Union Magazine; and
  • Mention at the fall 2019 CUNA Regulatory Compliance Certification School networking luncheon.

One 2019 first place winner selected from all asset category entrants will receive their award at CUNA’s Regulatory Compliance Certification School scheduled for September 8-13 in Dallas, Texas.  All entrants should be available to attend the school if they are selected.

The first place winner will receive the following:

  • The award, presented at the 2019 Fall CUNA Regulatory Compliance Certification School in Dallas;
  • Their profile in Credit Union Magazine;
  • Complimentary registration, airfare, and hotel for the school; and
  • Award Ribbon attached to their profile in CUNA’s Compliance Community.

The 2019 Compliance Impact Award will give recognition and distinction to credit unions who demonstrate their compliance efforts had a direct impact on minimizing financial or operational loss within their credit union and/or community.

Qualifications:

  • Must be a CUNA affiliated credit union;
    Compliance event must have occurred within the previous 3 years;
  • Must have an employee in CUNA’s Compliance Community with a completed community profile and photo; and
  • Must have an employee who holds the CUCE (Credit Union Compliance Expert) designation.

There also are three categories for this award: asset size less than $100 M; assets $101M-$500M; and assets greater than $500M.
