Forum attendees knew Todd Mason was planning to interview a special invited guest – but, for weeks, the identity of that guest was the League’s best kept secret. That mystery was solved when Mason revealed he would be sitting down with Shawn Moody, the League endorsed candidate for Governor.

Moody attended the Forum’s afternoon session and gave thanks to Mason, the League, and Maine’s credit unions for their support of his candidacy.  Moody talked about what the credit-union endorsement meant to him and outlined how he hoped to work with credit unions to address some of Maine’s biggest issues – including workforce development.

Moody explained how he and his wife, Chrissi, grew Moody’s Collision Center from a small auto center in Gorham, to a multi-site, employee-owned operation.  He noted Moody’s recognition as a Best Places to Work and told the crowd he would work hard to make Maine one of the best places to work in America if elected Governor.

Before departing, Moody took time to meet with the League’s Board as well as the League’s Political Involvement Committee.
