Ending Hunger Fundraising Events Abound

From 'Taking A Chance' to win choice seats to see the Patriots vs. the New York Jets in October, a Yard Sale with hundreds of items and a Harvest Dance and Auction to inaugural events including a disc golf tournament, a bike ride and barbecue and a 100-hole golf challenge, there are plenty of upcoming events happening to help support the Maine Credit Unions' Campaign for Ending Hunger.

The final 'Take A Chance' statewide raffle of 2015 is underway and continues until the winning ticket is drawn on Tuesday, October 13.  The winner will receive: two choice seats to see the Patriots vs. New York Jets on Sunday, October 25, at 1 p.m., at Gillette Stadium in Foxboro, plus bus transportation (leaving from Cabelas in Scarborough) to and from the game, and a pre and post-game barbecue.  Tickets are sold for $10 each, and $5 from each ticket sold by a participating credit union will be credited to their 2015 Ending Hunger fundraising total, with the other $5 going to support statewide ending hunger initiatives, such as the school backpack and school pantry programs.  There is no cost to participate, as credit unions only pay for tickets sold.  These can be sold to staff, volunteers, members, and non-members.  It's a great deal, no-risk and a win-win for everyone.  To begin selling tickets, please click here and return the form via email to Lauren Reeves, or email Lauren with how many tickets you would like to have sent (up to 50 initially); or call 800.442.6715.  Credit unions can sell tickets anytime now through the end of the raffle.
