Synergent is pleased to offer a new Business Continuity Planning series to help credit unions develop plans and goals. The first workshop in the series, Business Continuity: Getting Started, will be held Thursday, July 16, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., at the Credit Union Service Center in Westbrook. Credit unions should have a business continuity plan that shifts and molds with industry changes and internal growth. This series is designed to help credit unions stay current and focused on goals.
This series was developed for credit unions to gather on a quarterly basis for half-day workshops, where participants will be guided through the process. Each credit union will receive customized templates for use in creating and maintaining their Business Continuity Program documentation, along with post-workshop support from Synergent Business Continuity Services.
Feedback from credit unions who have worked with Synergent for Business Continuity Planning indicate its value. "The time I invested was well worth it. This is an amazing program; we're prepared and my team learned so much. The weight has been lifted off of my shoulders with this program," reported Tiffiny Stewart, President/CEO of Sabattus Regional CU, who participated in a pilot of the new BCP program with Synergent.
