Your League is excited to announce that the Search Phase to find the next Young & Free Maine Spokester has begun! The Search kicked off Monday, April 20, and we've changed things up a little.
There are a few significant changes to the 2015 search. This year’s search will focus on candidates who have a lively YouTube personality and will be able connect with 18-to-25 year olds via social media and in person. There will be a public vote after the entry phase, followed by a “Show Your Stuff” meetup.
Also new, the next Spokester will be eligible to work for up to a 24-month term. Additionally, credit union staff and interns are now able to apply for the Spokester position.
The Young & Free Maine Spokester position still has the same awesome perks including a car, MacBook Pro, iPhone, and a Canon HD camcorder, plus, of course, an annual salary.
Key dates to remember for the 2015 Young & Free Maine Spokester Search:
- Application Deadline: Wednesday, May 13
- Public Voting Phase: Friday, May 15 to Friday, May 22
- New! Show Your Stuff meetup: Thursday, May 28
- Spokester Named: On or around Monday, June 15
