A meeting of the Nominating Committee appointed by the Board of Directors of the Maine Credit Union League was held on March 18, 2015, and resulted in four credit union officials placed into nomination for League Director at large. The election to determine the Director will be held at your League's Annual Meeting on Friday, May 15.
Committee members in attendance were David Desjardins, Chair, Eugene Ardito and Scott Chretien. Also in attendance was Rod Rovzar, General Counsel. Your League's By-Laws dictate that the Nominating Committee shall place in nomination one or more persons for each at large vacancy. Additional nominations may be made from the floor of the delegates meeting.
The Nominating Committee considered expressions of interest from four prospective candidates and is pleased to place in nomination for League Director at large for a three year term (listed alphabetically):

Luke Labbe, President/CEO
PeoplesChoice Credit Union
Each member credit union is entitled to two votes at the Annual Meeting. The winner will be announced at the Meeting, which takes place on Friday, May 15, at the Holiday Inn by the Bay in Portland.
A copy of the Nominating Committee Report will be mailed, along with all other Committee Reports, to each credit union by the middle of this month.
