Registration Is Open for the Rescheduled Financial Literacy Conference

To help credit unions better reach their membership with outreach efforts, the League is inviting those with a passion for financial education to the Financial Literacy Conference on Friday, December 15, from 12:00–1:00pm with Juli Lewis.

This session was previously scheduled to be held at the Credit Union Service Center but will now be facilitated online to allow for greater participation. A description of Lewis’ presentation, Getting Them to Show Up Is Half the Battle…Win It!, is below. There is no fee to participate, but registration is required.

Workshop Overview

We know that financial education isn’t the most exciting topic and can even be a little intimidating. Join us for an open discussion on the challenges we all face in getting people to our workshops. This 30-year credit union veteran has not only been in the trenches but has also worked with credit unions all over the United States to make the blood, sweat, and tears we put into our sessions have an equal return. You’ll take away best practices on how to market your workshops, who to market them to, and where to best reach your target audience.
