The list is out, and once again, Maine’s credit union industry is well represented among the organizations recognized as 2026 Best Places to Work in Maine. We know the credit union movement offers meaningful and rewarding career opportunities, and recognition like this helps others see that, too.
Eighteen credit unions, along with the League and Synergent, earned a place on this year’s list. Honorees will be celebrated at an awards ceremony on October 13. List rankings will be revealed at the event.
“I’m proud to see the League and Synergent recognized alongside so many of Maine’s credit unions on this year’s list,” said League President Elise Baldacci. “Credit unions care deeply about their members and communities, and that same care extends to their employees. This recognition is a wonderful reflection of the supportive workplaces our credit union movement works hard to create.”
Best Places to Work in ME is a research-driven program from Best Companies Group that evaluates each company’s practices, programs, and benefits while also surveying employees about their experiences. Companies that meet the program’s criteria earn recognition as one of the Best Places to Work in ME.
