Downeast CU Celebrates Team Members at First Annual Awards Ceremony

Downeast CU proudly recognized nine outstanding team members during its 84th Annual Meeting, introducing a new awards program designed to celebrate the dedication, leadership, and impact of employees across the organization.

What makes these awards especially meaningful is that recipients were nominated by their peers who see firsthand the effort, care, and commitment that goes into serving members and communities every day.

“This program was created to shine a light on the incredible work happening across our organization,” said Trevor Gordon, Vice President of Human Resources at Downeast CU. “These nominations come directly from the people who work alongside our recipients every day, making this recognition truly special.”

Awards and their recipients include:

Operational Excellence Award: Bridget Monk, Card Service Specialist, was recognized for her exceptional reliability, attention to detail, and commitment to continuous improvement.
