The Results Are In – Maine’s Credit Unions Are Great Places to Work

Maine State CU President & CEO Tucker Cole accepts the award for being the #1 Best Place to Work in Maine – 2019.

Fifteen credit unions, the Maine Credit Union League, and Synergent were celebrated at the 2019 Best Places to Work in Maine awards dinner on October 2 at the Augusta Civic Center. The night honored Maine companies who are raising the bar among the state’s employers and creating an attractive workplace.

The Best Places to Work in Maine program is open to all publicly or privately held companies. To be eligible for consideration, organizations must have at least fifteen employees in the state.

Three credit unions placed in the top ten in the medium employer category.  Infinity FCU came in at the number six spot, jumping up from twenty last year, and Town & Country FCU rounded out the top ten.  But it was Maine State CU who took home top honors.  The credit union placed first and was named the Best Place to Work in Maine in its category.
