The League is pleased to announce we are holding our Annual Ending Hunger Golf Tournament in-person on August 18, to coincide with Convention. We missed having the opportunity to gather together last year for this important fundraising event and are looking forward to a fun day on the greens at the Belgrade Lakes Golf Club. We hope your credit union will join us by participating and/or serving as a sponsor of this event.

Registration should be completed online at: https://campaignforendinghunger.org/golf-tournament/. We have moved away from our old paper forms to an online registration to make it more convenient for golfers to register and pick a tee time that works for their schedules. The format of this year’s tournament will be different than what we have done in years past. Traditionally, our tournament is held scramble-style, but to adhere to the course’s COVID-19 safety procedures, each team will begin play at a specific time with tee times starting as early as 7:30 am.
Don’t delay. Spots for our tournament always fill up fast. You will want to act quickly and register today to guarantee team play. Credit unions are asked to limit their registration to one foursome only, unless they sponsor at a level that comes with two teams. After completing your online registration, you will receive an email confirmation. Please make sure you look for this email to verify that your transaction went through. If the tournament fills up, the League will create a waiting list.
Sponsorship Support Is Needed
To help meet the Campaign’s fundraising goals for 2021, sponsorship support for major events like our golf tournament is critical. We hope your credit union will consider being one of our event sponsors. We have more opportunities than ever before with prices to fit all budgets. Sponsorship opportunities are on a first-come, first-serve basis and several sponsorship levels include a foursome!
Please feel free to share our website with your vendors and area businesses if you think they might be interested in serving as a sponsor. Sponsorship opportunities will close on July 26.
