Participating on a League committee is an opportunity to help shape the future of Maine’s credit union movement while connecting with peers from across the state. Whether you’re passionate about advocacy, education, compliance, community impact, or raising awareness of the credit union difference, serving on a committee is a meaningful way to share your expertise and make a lasting impact alongside like-minded individuals from across the state. If you’ve been considering getting more involved, now is the time to step forward.
The League is accepting volunteer interest forms for 2026-2027 committee appointments. Committee members work alongside fellow credit union professionals to provide guidance, share ideas, and support initiatives that strengthen Maine’s credit unions and the members they serve.
The following committees will be appointed by their respective committee chairs:
- Chapter Committee – Chair: Christine Devine
- Compliance Committee – Chair: Kevin Partridge
- Emerging Leaders Committee – Chair: Jason Lindstrom
- Education & Events Committee – Chair: Julie Marquis
- Governmental Affairs Committee – Chair: Mark Samson
- Social Responsibility Committee – Chair: Luke Labbe
- Statewide Awareness Advisory Group – Chair: Ryan Ellsworth
- Technology Services Advisory Board – Led by Tyler Hudson, President of Synergent
To provide as many credit union professionals as possible with the opportunity to participate, volunteers are asked to serve on one League committee; however, the committee chair and a committee member may represent the same credit union. Other exceptions include volunteering for a League committee as well as the Synergent Technology Services Committee.
Chapter officers are welcome to volunteer for both the Chapter Committee and one additional committee. If you qualify for one of these exceptions, please submit the volunteer form twice.
Current committee members who wish to continue serving must also complete a new volunteer form for consideration.
