October $100,000 Ending Hunger Challenge Starts Next Week

Next week, as we welcome October, our statewide movement will take on an extraordinary goal in our collective fight against hunger: Maine Credit Unions’ sixth annual $100,000 Ending Hunger Challenge. With your aid, we can help hungry neighbors in need obtain the essential nutrition they need to survive and thrive. 

This critical mission can’t be accomplished alone. United, credit unions across Maine have a unique opportunity to come together and take on the Challenge—giving crucial support to hunger relief organizations and Mainers facing the harsh realities of food insecurity every day.  

While ambitious, our credit unions have shown year after year that this is a feat we can tackle with success for those struggling in our home communities. We hope your credit union will support this important fundraising effort by donating to the Campaign for Ending Hunger and/or coordinating a fundraiser at your credit union. This is a great opportunity to raise both funds and awareness about hunger in our state, boosting your credit union’s Campaign fundraising for 2025. 

Together, we can—and do—make a meaningful difference for our communities—especially those who do not know where their next meal will come from.
