Northeast Credit Union Announces New AVP of Mortgages


 

 

Northeast Credit Union’s Chris Saucier

Northeast Credit Union (NECU) proudly announces the promotion of Chris Saucier from its East Region’s Regional Manager to Assistant Vice President of Mortgages. In his new role, Saucier will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the mortgage department and integral in developing new mortgage products and services to enrich NECU’s home loan offerings for a greater member experience.

“Chris has a passion for mortgage lending and will be an asset to the department. His experience in mortgages and his passion for the best member experience will be a perfect combination for leading the credit union in providing optimum products and service,” explains Kelly McGrath, Senior Vice President of Lending/Chief Lending Officer.

Saucier brings more than ten years of mortgage and banking experience, including in his most recent position where he oversaw six branch locations throughout Maine and Southern NH. He is a graduate of University of Maine Presque Isle with a bachelor’s degree in Business Management and served in various management and leadership roles at Ocean Communities Federal Credit Union, including Branch Manager of both Sanford and Biddeford locations and AVP of Sales and Branch Management where he directly oversaw the five retail branches as well as all Mortgage production.

“I’m extremely excited to have an opportunity in this new role to focus on mortgages and work to make sure NECU is offering competitive mortgage products and top notch service to our members.  I believe my experience working in the branches and hearing directly from our members about their mortgage wants and needs will translate well and allow me to hit the ground running,” said Saucier.
