Mark Your Calendars to Attend Two Key Credit Union Events Next Year

Calendars tend to fill up fast, especially during the beginning of the new year, and there are two events your credit union won’t want to miss: the Ending Hunger Celebration and the League’s Annual Meeting and Convention.

The Ending Hunger luncheon takes place February 15, 2023, and registration is now open! The event is returning to an in-person format to recognize the outstanding fundraising accomplishments of Maine credit unions. Top credit union fundraisers will be recognized and participants will hear from the inspiring Billy Shore, Founder and Executive Chair of Share Our Strength, the parent organization for the No Kid Hungry campaign. To join the League and your credit union colleagues at the Harraseeket Inn, please register by February 6.

The Annual Meeting and Convention is happening May 19 – 20, at the Holiday Inn by the Bay in Portland. Details for this event will be shared soon. Plans are well underway to deliver an informative conference with exciting guest speakers, networking, awards, and more! Additional details about the event, including registration information, will be shared soon. 

To kick-off Convention festivities, the League will host its Ending Hunger Golf Tournament on May 18. Registration and sponsorship information for the tournament will be provided in mid-February. The event format will return to a shotgun start and be held at the Poland Spring Golf Course.
