Maine Savings Participates in the Wicked Muddy Mainer

On July 13, fifteen enthusiastic employees from Maine Savings Federal Credit Union (FCU) embarked on a very muddy team building exercise in Orrington as part of the Wicked Muddy Mainer.  Team Maine Savings tackled twenty obstacles along the six mile, mud soaked course.

The team also participated in the “Battle of the Bankers” challenge to win $1,000 for the Campaign for Ending Hunger.  And while the Maine Savings team fell short of winning the grand prize, they enjoyed running the course and participating in the event.

“Running through the mud and obstacles as a team was a terrific teambuilding experience,” said Mike Grow, Marketing Director for Maine Savings Federal Credit Union. “It was great to come together, competing for a chance to win money for charity. That’s what it’s all about!”

In addition, Maine Savings FCU donated a racing arch, marking the event’s finish line.  The arch can be re-purposed for use at other charitable racing events in the community in the future.
