Maine Savings FCU proudly announces the promotion of Bridgette Shorey to Vice President, Commercial Lending Officer. A dedicated financial professional and longtime community advocate, Shorey brings over two decades of experience in the industry and a proven track record of leadership and service.

Shorey joined Maine Savings in December 2019 as Branch Manager in Ellsworth. Since then, she has quickly progressed through the organization, earning promotions to Assistant Vice President in 2022 and Vice President in 2023. In her new role, she will continue to serve the Downeast community while also expanding commercial lending services across the state of Maine.

“Bridgette’s deep roots in the community and unwavering dedication to our members make her an invaluable part of our team,” said Christy Davalli, Senior Vice President, Commercial Lending Officer at Maine Savings FCU. “Her passion, experience, and forward-thinking approach embody the spirit of Maine Savings. I’m excited to see her impact grow as she takes on this new leadership role.”

A native of Ellsworth and proud Hancock County resident, Shorey has been active in community service for many years. She currently serves on the Board of Directors for KidsPeace and Habitat for Humanity. Shorey earned her degree in Business Administration in 2020 while working full-time and raising her daughter, Kerrigan, a recent graduate of Husson University.

In addition to her professional credentials—which include a Property and Casualty license, Certified Credit Union Financial Counselor (CCUFC) designation, and completion of several leadership programs—Shorey is currently in her second year at CUNA Management School. Upon completion of the three-year program, she will earn the prestigious Certified Credit Union Executive (CCUE) designation.

“Bridgette exemplifies the commitment to service and excellence that sets Maine Savings apart,” said Jeffrey Charland, Chief Experience Officer at Maine Savings FCU. “Her ability to build lasting relationships and find meaningful financial solutions for our members goes far beyond banking—it’s about creating a better path forward for our communities.”

Shorey is well-known in the Ellsworth area not only for her professional accomplishments, but also as an avid runner frequently seen participating in local road races—often alongside her daughter, Kerrigan. Whether volunteering or running, she’s a familiar and active presence in the community.

“I’ve lived in New Hampshire and Pennsylvania, but Maine is home,” said Shorey. “I’m proud to represent the Downeast region and to be part of a team that values connection, trust, and helping our members succeed.”
