League and Synergent Employees Gather for Homecoming Week

League President Elise Baldacci and Synergent President Tyler Hudson kick off Homecoming Week with opening remarks.

This past week, all League and Synergent employees gathered for our annual Homecoming Week celebration, with this year’s event designed around the theme of “Navigating Growth Together.” Throughout the week, staff engaged in a variety of activities to network, learn, and collaborate. In addition to company-wide service trainings, there were ample opportunities to develop and grow internal relationships through connection and teamwork.

Stacie VanDenBerghe inspires employees to strive for excellence.

During the week, Bill Nagle and Stacie VanDenBerghe provided training sessions geared towards ensuring a strong internal culture and stellar customer service. Nagle wrapped up an ongoing training series for our staff with engaging discussions around strengthening relationships through communication and listening skills. In addition, VanDenBerghe inspired excellence in our daily practices, delivering an insightful presentation on building a “can do” culture. Both speakers propelled the League and Synergent toward top-notch service, deeper connections, and next-level culture.

With service top-of-mind, we’d be remiss if we did not also use this week-long gathering as an opportunity to give back to our community. Not only did we fundraise for CULAC, but our employees came together in the face of food insecurity. All week, donations were brought in to support our neighborhood pantry, the Westbrook Food Pantry, in honor and recognition of both CU Kind Day and International Credit Union Day—proving that the spirit of collaboration and People Helping People strengthens those we serve.

Our table was overflowing with donations for the Westbrook Food Pantry!

Additionally, our main company-wide event took place on Wednesday at 33 Elmwood in Westbrook—complete with bowling, delicious food, friendly tournaments for cornhole and cribbage, and plenty of laughs. With another Homecoming Week concluded, our team is already looking forward to next year’s festivities.
