KSW FCU Announces Deseree Gilman’s Retirement and Successor

KSW FCU announced this week that President & CEO Deseree Gilman will retire on June 1, 2026, concluding a distinguished 41-year career with the organization.

Gilman began her journey with KSW in January 1985 as a Teller and went on to lead the credit union through decades of growth, modernization, and community service. Under her leadership, KSW navigated economic shifts, industry changes, technological evolution, and unprecedented challenges including the Y2K transition and the COVID‑19 pandemic.

Having grown up visiting the credit union with her mother, Gilman has long held a personal connection to KSW and its members. She succeeded longtime mentor Anne Boulette as CEO and continued to strengthen the organization’s mission: “Everything we do, we do for you.”

“KSW has been part of my life for as long as I can remember,” Gilman said. “It has been an honor to serve our members and work alongside such dedicated employees, volunteers, and board members.”

KSW FCU, originally founded in 1954 as Keyes Fibre FCU, has expanded significantly during Gilman’s tenure. Today, the credit union remains financially strong with a committed team ready to continue its mission of serving members with care and integrity.

The Board of Directors has hired Jason Hilt as its new President & CEO. Hilt has over 20 years of credit union experience.
