Infinity FCU Wins Outstanding Community Partner Award

Infinity FCU’s Kandy Moreau accepts the Outstanding Community Partner award from ProsperityME’s Executive Director Claude Rwaganje.

On May 7, ProsperityME celebrated the triumphs of Maine’s immigrants at their 11th Annual Community Block Party. At the special event, which included a guest appearance by Governor Janet Mills, Infinity Federal Credit Union (FCU) was awarded the Outstanding Community Partner award.

Infinity FCU and ProsperityME partnered to give asylum seekers interest-free notes to help them secure their first apartments.  Obtaining notes can be difficult for asylum seekers because they often lack the money and documentation to receive funding despite being legally qualified.

“We are honored to be chosen as the Outstanding Community Partner for ProsperityME,” said Kandy Moreau, Infinity FCU’s Chief Lending Officer. “By providing funds to secure a safe place to live while they seek employment, we are helping members of the ProsperityME community on their journey to citizenship. It allows Infinity FCU to put our vision, We Do Banking Differently to Keep You a Step Ahead in Life, into action. ”

The League extends our congratulations to the entire team at Infinity FCU.
