Gardiner Federal Credit Union (FCU) was named a finalist for the Kennebec Valley Chamber of Commerce’s 2019 President’s Choice Kenney Award. Their recognition was celebrated at the Chamber’s annual Kenney Awards ceremony, held on January 25. Approximately 900 people from across Central Maine attended this special event.

To be nominated for a President’s Choice award, organizations need to be in business for at least two years, make an important contribution to the Kennebec Valley through revenue growth and job creation, and maintain an exemplary business image in the community.

“It was a surprise and huge honor just to have been nominated for the President’s Choice Kenney Award,” said Vicki Larrabee, CEO of Gardiner FCU. “The recognition belongs to our credit union members and our community members who support everything that we do; and of course, to our amazing staff and board of directors.”

As part of their award ceremony, the Kennebec Valley Chamber created a video showcasing Gardiner FCU’s rich history and commitment to the community. Watch to learn more and join our League in congratulating the entire team at Gardiner FCU on this exceptional recognition!
