Cumberland County FCU is proud to announce the election of Alexis “Lucky” D’Ascanio as the new Chairwoman of its Board of Directors. D’Ascanio succeeds Jerry Caruso, who served in the role for 26 years.
With over 18 years of leadership experience as the Director of Falmouth Parks and Community Programs, D’Ascanio brings a deep understanding of strategy, financial oversight, and community engagement to her new role. She has served on the Board since 2014 and prior to that served on the Supervisory Committee since 2010 where she remains a board liaison. She has also served on the National Recreation & Parks Association Conference Program Committee, the Maine Recreation & Parks Association, and the New England Parks Association Board of Directors.

In her new position, D’Ascanio will oversee board activities, support the credit union’s strategic direction, and continue to ensure it delivers outstanding service to its members.
