CUSO Welcomes New Dimensions FCU as a Credit Union Owner

CUSO Home Lending has welcomed New Dimensions FCU as a new credit union owner, effective December 9, 2025. New Dimensions’ ownership reflects a shared commitment to cooperative principles, local decision-making, and strengthening mortgage services for credit union members across Maine. All required ownership approvals have been completed, with associated NMLS updates underway.

CUSO is owned by Maine credit unions and was established to provide reliable, locally serviced mortgage solutions while supporting the long-term success of the credit union system. New Dimensions FCU’s addition as an owner continues that collaborative model.

“CUSO was established through collaboration among credit unions to ensure members have access to trusted, locally delivered mortgage services,” said Lori Michaud, CEO of CUSO Home Lending. “We are pleased to welcome New Dimensions Federal Credit Union as an owner and look forward to continuing to strengthen our cooperative model together. Serving members across central Maine, New Dimensions brings a strong community focus and a member-first philosophy that aligns closely with CUSO’s mission and long-term strategy.”

“We have worked very closely with CUSO since the early 1990s,” said Ryan Poulin, CEO of New Dimensions FCU. “Joining CUSO Home Lending as an owner aligns with our commitment to collaboration and long-term service to our members. CUSO’s cooperative approach and local expertise make them a strong partner as we continue to support homeownership opportunities for the communities we serve.”

“The CUSO Board of Directors is excited to welcome a new member-owner that is a true collaborative partner and champion for Mainers and homeownership,” said Vanessa Madore, Board Chair of CUSO Home Lending. “We are grateful for this opportunity to further the credit union mission of People Helping People.”
