The Illinois Credit Union League has announced the selection of ten credit unions and one league in the giving component of their #ILoveMyCreditUnion campaign. Maine’s own Community CU was picked as one of the lucky recipients, and will receive a $1,000 donation to a charity of their choice.
The giving component for #ILoveMyCreditUnion day encouraged credit unions to share their community engagement strategies for the July 29 social media blitz. Credit unions that provided their plans were entered into a raffle. Credit union leagues that were registered to participate in the campaign also were entered into a raffle for a $15,000 donation to a Children’s Miracle Network Hospital in their area. The Association of Vermont Credit Unions won the league raffle and selected The University of Vermont Children’s Hospital as the beneficiary.

- Unity Catholic FCU, Ohio
- Ravalli County FCU, Montana
- First Capital FCU, Pennsylvania
- TruWest CU, Arizona
- New Horizons CU, Alabama
- NuMark CU, Illinois
