CFPB Accepting Applications for Advisory Committees

The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) is currently accepting applications for four advisory committees: the Consumer Advisory Board, the Community Bank Advisory Council, the Credit Union Advisory Council, and the Academic Research Council. These committees provide the Bureau with important feedback about emerging trends and practices in the consumer financial marketplace.

If you are interested in serving on a committee, applications must be submitted online by February 27. All applications must include:

  • Cover letter explaining interests and qualifications
  • Resume or curriculum vitae
  • Recommendation letter(s) from a third party describing the applicant’s interests and qualifications to serve
  • Completed questionnaire
