Casco FCU Holds Successful Motorcycle Ride to End Hunger

August 28 turned out to be a gorgeous day to hold Casco FCU’s 4th Annual Motorcycle Ride to End Hunger. The sun was shining, bike engines were revving, and most importantly, money was raised to support the Campaign for Ending Hunger.

“It was a record-breaking fundraiser and a beautiful day with great friends,” said Patty Kenney, Community Relations Manager at Casco FCU.

Casco FCU successfully raised $3,421.85 for local food pantries. Riders and their passengers also benefited. They enjoyed a scenic cruise around Southern Maine, lunch, a raffle, and the comradery that comes with aligning behind an important cause.

“On behalf of our entire credit union team, we would like to extend a big thank you to our event sponsors and volunteers who helped the day go off without a hitch,” added Kenney. “We can’t wait to see everyone again for next year’s ride!”
