Ross Barnard
Atlantic FCU welcomes Ross Barnard as its new Mortgage Development Officer. In this role, Barnard will strengthen referral relationships and support homebuyers throughout their mortgage journey, helping to expand the credit union’s home lending program.
“We’re thrilled to welcome Ross to our team,” said Emily Hamilton, VP of Consumer & Mortgage Lending at Atlantic FCU. “With his industry knowledge and passion for building relationships, Ross will develop strong mortgage partnerships that truly serve our members, helping more individuals and families achieve homeownership.”
Barnard brings valuable experience from Leader Bank in Massachusetts, where he advanced from intern to Loan Officer Assistant. He co-managed a multimillion-dollar loan pipeline and coordinated closely with borrowers, realtors, and partners.
At Atlantic FCU, Barnard will promote a full suite of mortgage products, including conventional, construction, and portfolio, while expanding relationships with real estate professionals. His proactive approach aims to drive loan growth and continue to position Atlantic as a trusted mortgage provider in the community.
“My philosophy is simple: lead by action and maintain steady communication,” shared Barnard. “I’m excited to help people finance their dream homes and build valuable connections throughout the community.”
A graduate of Syracuse University with a degree in International Relations, Barnard looks forward to getting involved locally, with interests in food security, elder support, and land preservation. Outside of work, he enjoys skiing, golfing, fishing, hiking, and spending time with friends.
