The League’s Governmental Affairs team is proud to be hosting two events next week focused on advocacy and the November election.  Have you secured your spot to attend?

On October 2, the League will hold a Young Professionals Network Advocacy Workshop at the Maine State House.  This workshop will help provide an overview about the important role advocacy plays in helping Maine’s credit unions achieve their public policy goals.  Legislators, lobbyists, and legislative staff will lend their expertise and answer questions about the legislative process.  To register, visit the League’s website.

Additionally, on October 4, the League will host one its signature events – the annual Legislative Forum.  This day-long summit, held at the beautiful Harraseeket Inn in Freeport, will feature national and local speakers covering Maine’s governor’s race, the tumultuous political environment in Washington, and state legislative races.  There will also be a silent auction and raffle to benefit CULAC.  To register for this event, you can also visit the League’s website.

Two great events – one big week!  Don’t miss your chance to join us.
