Governor Mills announced the name of her final Cabinet nominee. Amanda Beal was nominated to serve as the Commissioner of the Department of Agriculture, Conservation and Forestry.

Each of Governor Mills’ Cabinet appointees will be considered by a legislative committee of jurisdiction and approved by the state Senate. The legislature has forty-five days to conclude the confirmation process of each nominee.

Cabinet nominees include:

  • Amanda Beal: Commissioner of the Department of Agriculture, Conservation and Forestry
  • Judith Camuso: Commissioner of the Department of Inland, Fisheries and Wildlife
  • Gen. Douglas Farnham: Commissioner of the Department of Defense, Veterans and Emergency Management
  • Kirsten Figueroa: Commissioner of the Department of Administrative and Financial Services
  • Laura Fortman: Commissioner of the Department of Labor
  • Anne Head: Commissioner of the Department of Professional and Financial Regulation
  • Heather Johnson: Commissioner of the Department of Economic and Community Development
  • Patrick Keliher: Commissioner of the Department of Marine Resources
  • Jeanne Lambrew: Commissioner of the Department of Health and Human Services
  • Randall Liberty: Commissioner of the Department of Corrections
  • Pender Makin: Commissioner of the Department of Education
  • Jerry Reid: Commissioner of the Department of Environmental Protection
  • John Rohde: Executive Director of the Workers’ Compensation Board
  • Michael Sauschuck: Commissioner of the Department of Public Safety
  • Bruce Van Note: Commissioner of the Department of Transportation
