On Tuesday, October 1, credit union staff and volunteers from York Chapter credit unions will gather at PeoplesChoice Credit Union in Saco for a special Candidate Night––running from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm. The Maine Credit Union League has invited local candidates running for public office to sit on a panel.
The League will moderate a roundtable discussion––offering a forum for candidates to share their policy positions on credit union priorities. Questions will be asked by League moderators, but questions from credit union staff and volunteers are both welcomed and encouraged. Candidates will also have a chance to ask the audience about the credit union industry. The cost to attend is $50 per person.
Registration for the Candidate Night includes a meal from Above & Beyond Catering.

Attendance will be funded by the credit union, not the individual. There will be a cash bar onsite, as well as a 50/50 raffle.
