Finding balance isn’t always easy—especially when life and work both demand so much of us. In recognition of Mental Health Awareness Month, join us for a virtual session on Boundaries, Balance & Burnout, where we’ll explore the challenges of maintaining well-being in both our personal and professional lives. Through personal and relatable stories, this session will highlight how life experiences, career demands, and a passion for community involvement can sometimes lead to overcommitment and burnout.

Attendees will gain insight into:

  • Setting healthy boundaries
  • Prioritizing what matters most
  • Understanding that balance isn’t something we find—it’s something we create

Guest Speaker: Mary Gagnon, LMFT, Director of Suicide Prevention, NAMI Maine

Experience Panel: Kim Daigle, CUIS; Joann Bisson, Oxford FCU; Karen Rickett, Cumberland County FCU; Jenn Deschene, UCU

Get ready to dive into real experiences from across the credit union network and gain practical strategies for setting healthy boundaries, maintaining balance, and recognizing the signs of burnout before they escalate.

NAMI Maine has been selected as the charitable organization for this meeting, supporting their mission to provide education, advocacy, and resources for individuals and families impacted by mental health challenges. If you would like to make a contribution, please visit https://namimaine.org/donate/.
