- Update on new and pending federal and state legislation related to COVID such as the Emergency Paid Sick Leave Act and the new Maine Paid Leave Law.
- Guidance on handling difficult situations with employees such as PTO vs Emergency Paid Sick Leave; outside of work personal conduct policies regarding COVID, etc.
- Expected changes to workplace law in a Biden administration such as dismantling the gig economy, liberalizing labor organizing and conduct, strengthening “fair pay” laws, mandating diversity, and inclusion training, etc.
