Maine Savings FCU is hiring a Member Service Representative/Loan Officer at its Milo location.
Maine Savings FCU has an opening for a dynamic Member Service Rep/Loan Officer in our Milo office. The ideal candidate will be a strong team player with the desire to offer superior service by:
- Assisting members in identifying their financial needs and contributing toward their success and the success of Maine Savings by recommending additional products and services which will enhance the members financial well-being.
- Gaining an understanding of the financial industry and contribute toward the success of Maine Savings and its members.
- Processing transactions for members in a prompt, efficient, accurate, courteous, and professional manner.
- Providing outstanding member service, reach effective solutions, and follow through with members for all inquiries.
- Maintaining accurate cash and transaction records.
- Opening and closing member accounts.
- Taking consumer loan applications, answering questions about products and services and resolving issues within their authority.
This position focuses on processing loan applications along with providing coverage for the teller line when needed. Previous experience in the financial services industry is required for all applicants; prior experience with Symitar core processing systems is preferred.
We are looking for candidates who are positive, upbeat, present a neat, professional appearance; previous customer service experience is a plus. Prior experience with the Episys Core Processing system is a bonus. This is a 40 hour/week position.

The successful candidate will be awarded a $500.00 sign on bonus at the successful completion of the 90-day provisional period.
