Northeast CU is hiring Member Experience Specialists at multiple locations including Westbrook & Kennebunk.

These are all-encompassing roles serving and engaging our members with all aspects of their transactions.

Role:

Through use of our sales program IDEAL, our Member Experience Specialists conduct routine transactions such as deposits and withdrawals with an unapparelled opportunity to identify needs to enrich our members lives.

Through proper needs assessment the Member Experience Specialist II will proactively offer additional products and services. Ownership of experience is crucial as the Member Experience Specialist II will be a single point of contact to develop member relationships.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

Accurately and efficiently processes deposits, payments, withdrawals, cashed checks, wires, fraud packets, etc. in accordance with established policies and procedures while seeking opportunities to enrich our members lives. (IDEAL). Balances cash drawer/TCR. Handles all transactions with accuracy and courtesy, while maintain privacy and security.

Represents the credit union in a professional manner while dealing with members and potential members. Provides “World Class” quality service (IDEAL) to members and potential members (and team members). Follows-up (onboarding) member interactions with thank you notes and phone calls.

Fulfills member requests and seeks opportunities for products and services while looking for ways to deepen member relationships and accomplish credit union objectives. Meets members’ needs by providing outstanding service, problem resolution and needs based selling; interviewing loan applicants, closing loans, cross-selling, referring mortgages or prospecting. Completes applications for all loan types with the exception of mortgages.

Prepares and disburses loans within lending limits and credit union guidelines. Actively promotes all CU ancillary products for the protection of the member.

Experience:

Two years to five years of similar or related experience as a teller, cashier, or in a member/customer services role. Previous sales and lending experience preferred.
