Eastmill FCU is hiring a full-time Loan Servicing Specialist at its East Millinocket branch.
Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Loan Servicing Specialist. The ideal candidate will be responsible for various tasks related to loan servicing, including file maintenance, loan booking, title management, lien processing, insurance monitoring, and customer support. Responsibilities:
- Complete loan file maintenance, ensuring accuracy and completeness of all documentation.
- Assist in booking new loans to the Symitar system.
- Manage titles by filing new titles and releasing titles for paid off loans.
- Process lien discharges accurately and efficiently.
- Handle UCC inquiries, including new filings and renewals.
- Monitor homeowners’ insurance policies to ensure properties with a lien are adequately protected.
- Conduct the breakdown of loan files for paid off loans, release liens, and file paid loan documentation.
- Submit mortgage discharges to the registry of deeds for paid-off mortgage and home equity loans.
- Provide backup support to loan officers by addressing member inquiries and inputting consumer loan applications.
- Assist the branch manager with new account file maintenance when needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in loan servicing or related field preferred.
- Familiarity with Symitar is a plus, but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
