Digital Marketing Specialist


New Dimensions FCU is hiring a Digital Marketing Specialist at its Winslow location.

Role:

The Digital Marketing Specialist has an innovative mindset that allows them to come up with creative ideas for marketing campaigns and brand initiatives. The candidate must be able to work independently, possess excellent organizational skills, have a keen attention to detail, and be adaptable and willing to learn in order to stay ahead in this fast-paced industry. The candidate should have the ability to contribute to NDFCU’s brand and overall image and should also have a team-driven mindset to ensure accountability as they understand how their job affects the work of other team members.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

  • (40%) Oversee and manage all digital channels for the credit union. Assist with day-to-day messaging; update and manage blog, e-newsletter and social media. Create, maintain, and implement digital marketing and editorial calendars.
  • (15%) Research advertising trends, competitor and vendor pricing and products.
  • (10%) Assist with email marketing campaigns and website management.
  • (10%) Represents the credit union; promotes the credit union to employees and works with sponsors to maintain positive relationships.
  • (10%) Understand our products and services; to effectively market on social media.
  • (5%) Provide feedback to the Marketing Director regarding digital analytics, research findings, member insights, and questions.
  • (5%) Generate, share, and reply to online reviews in a positive and open manner.
  • (5%) Performs other job related duties as assigned.

Performance Measurements:

  1. Assist department manager in providing direction and recommendations to management, based on current research data, regarding market strategies and directions the credit union should take.
  2. Accomplish all assigned projects in accordance with applicable credit union policy and procedures as well as any state and federal rules and regulations, keeping management informed of any problematic areas.
  3. Ensure all communications (such as brochures, website, signs, billboards) are accurate, timely and within budget guidelines.
  4. Deliver planned results within budget.
  5. Provide informed, professional, accurate service and support to all members and associates.
  6. Ensure assigned reports are accurately prepared and delivered in a timely manner.

Experience:

One year to three years of similar or related experience researching and promoting products and services online via blogs, social media, and website content. Previous email campaigns done with a wide range of digitally related tasks are a plus. Some graphic design skills utilizing Indesign and Photoshop and a knowledge of GA4 are desirable.

Education:

(1) A two-year college degree, or (2) completion of a specialized certification or licensing, or (3) completion of specialized training courses conducted by vendors, or (4) job-specific skills acquired through an apprenticeship program.

Interpersonal Skills:

Work involves much personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization for the purpose of first-level conflict resolution, building relationships, and soliciting cooperation. Discussions involve a higher degree of confidentiality and discretion, requiring diplomacy and tact in communication.

Other Skills:

Have basic understanding of e-commerce, pay-per-click, SEO and SEM. Have basic knowledge of media-editing software; best practices, and content management platforms. Familiarity with analytical tools such as Google Analytics. Superior computer skills, research ability, organized work habits and digital literacy required.

Physical Requirements:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, occasionally stand and walk (including walking up and down stairs), use hands and fingers, reach with hands and arms, talk and hear. The specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus.

The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.

Work Environment:

The noise level in the work environment is usually minimal.
