Branch Manager

KV FCU is hiring a Branch Manager at its Waterville location.

Job Summary:

A person in this position will be responsible for day-to-day operations and leadership of our Waterville branch office. Their duties will include onboarding and staff training, building rapport with the membership and community, and the creation and implementation of strategies to improve productivity and performance in an effort to achieve the financial target of the branch.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Cultivate and grow bank lending and deposit relationships with new and existing members
  • Establish trusted business relationships with external constituents by representing the credit union at community functions
  • Oversees supervision, training, and performance of all staff within the Waterville branch
  • Assist in the recommendation and promotion of products and services development to ensure customer satisfaction and credit union profitability
  • Maintain knowledge of state and federal credit union regulations
  • Adhere to and enforce branch policy, security, and operation requirements

Required Skills, Competencies, and Abilities:

  • Possess a comprehensive understanding of financial services, credit union regulations, and compliance requirements
  • Possess a combination of education and experience to perform primary duties of the position
  • Adaptability to changes within system, process, product, and service changes
  • Effective and efficient planning, organizational, and time management skills
  • Ability to demonstrate community commitment within Kennebec or Somerset County
  • Ability to reason, problem solve, and think critically
  • Ability to effectively convey thoughts, ideas, and information clearly and concisely
  • Demonstrate a high level of integrity and ability to foster a culture of respect

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Associates degree in finance/business
  • 2 years of leadership experience in financial services
  • Consumer lending experience
  • Strong community ties in Kennebec or Somerset County

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance/business
  • Mortgage lending experience
