Accounting Specialist


Maine Savings FCU is hiring an Accounting Specialist at its Hampden location.

Maine Savings FCU is expanding their Accounting team and has an opening for an Accounting Specialist. The Accounting Specialist will be responsible for posting journal entries, balancing general or subsidiary ledgers, and reconciling bank and investment transactions. The Accounting Specialist will also be involved in the Accounts Payable process.

The preferred candidate will have 3-5 years of experience, a positive attitude, strong attention to detail, a sense of curiosity, and the desire to create efficient processes. We are seeking candidates with a high level of initiative, and the ability to work successfully in a culture where teamwork and collaboration are key to success. The successful candidate will be PC-proficient and have a strong working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, Access, Outlook, and Word. Symitar Episys experience would be beneficial.
